What is the Zoo Ranger?

The Zoo Ranger is a lightweight, handheld, rugged, water-resistant computer with a sunlight viewable touchscreen.  Our patented software utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) to deliver your educational conservation messages to visitors as they experience the awe and meaning of the exhibits at your zoo.

Multimedia, location-aware content helps interpret your venue for visitors in a fun, entertaining and interactive format as they learn more and get a behind-the-scenes look at your zoo.  The Zoo Ranger allows you to update content easily to inform visitors of today's activities, Keepers' notes, announcements and programs on the horizon!

GPS coordinates correspond to Points of Interest within your location: exhibits, facilities and more!  As visitors approach these locations, relevant content automatically triggers on their handheld device.  Using the integrated GPS mapping system, visitors are encouraged to explore your venue and learn more about what makes your location unique.
