Sales Account Representative Position Open! (Full Time)

Position Description

The Sales Account Representative will be responsible for building sales of the Ranger Series into the markets that we serve.  This will be a hands-on, roll-up your sleeves position.  You will be responsible for driving sales and generating revenue for the company.  This product requires a consultative sales person who can think creatively, feels comfortable selling a big ticket technology solution and has a strong interest in learning on a daily basis.  

If you are up for the challenge, you will have a great opportunity to "show your stuff".

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Preferred 4-6 years of past inside or outside sales experience with strong preference towards candidates who have a travel and interpretation background.  An added plus would be some understanding of electronic tools for interpretation.  Some understanding or work experience at venues such as theme parks, state and national parks, zoos or cruiseship ports is a big plus. 

Travel: Up to 25% travel to wonderful tourism-related locations may be required.

  • Proven track record in sales and account development 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project

Location: BarZ is located in Austin, TX.  The ideal candidate will reside in the Central Texas area and will be expected to work in our corporate headquarters.  No relocation expenses will be paid.  The position could require up to 25% travel to wonderful tourism related locations!

Salary/Benefits: BarZ will offer an aggressive compensation program that includes base plus an uncapped commission compensation plan.  Full-time employees will be eligible for benefits under the BarZ Adventures benefit plan, including a stock option plan.

BarZ Adventures Inside Sales Positions Open!

Do you have what it takes to drive business of new tourism technology?

Position Description:

The Inside Sales position will be responsible for building sales of the Ranger Series into our selected markets.  You will be expected to make a large volume of outbound phone calls to help generate interest in our product, explaining the merits of the Ranger Series of multimedia tour guides for tourist destinations.  This position will assist in filling the sales pipeline with quality sales leads and ensuring that new business opportunities are coming into the company on a continual basis.  Some of the specific tasks this position will entail include:

  • Finding and qualifying new leads
  • Researching potential leads in order to address pain points and tailor sales pitch appropriately
  • Building consensus and momentum for tour development in the targeted organizations
  • Presenting sales presentations over the phone and with web conferencing software
  • Answering client questions, anticipating and offering rebuttals for client objections
  • Following up with potential clients in a timely and consistent manner, keeping an open door throughout the sales process
  • Keeping sales pipeline and lead status organized through the use of CRM software

This will be a hands-on, "roll-up your sleeves" position.  As we are a start-up company offering a new product to the market, a creative entreprenerial approach to work will be required to make the most impact.  You will be responsible for helping to drive the sales process and close business.

Travel: Limited to tradeshow participation and some customer visits.

Salary/Benefits: Compensation will be commesurate with experience and will be a combination of salary and commission based pay.  Full-time employees will be eligible for benefits under the BarZ Adventures benefit plan, including an innovative annual immersion week in the markets that we support.
