The GPS Ranger Series is a result of over two years of product hardware and software development -- but many more years of brainstorming and invention design on the part of company founder, Lee Little. The idea for a location based self-guided touring system came to Mr. Little when he and his family were visiting Yellowstone National Park – always curious, Lee had many questions as he stood among the amazing geysers but was forced to leave the natural wonders with his desire for knowledge unfulfilled. His 25 years of technology background sparked him to think about the possibility of delivering a park ranger’s message directly at the point of those fascinating erupting geysers. The GPS Ranger was born when he developed a system of hardware and software that would deliver audio and video files using GPS technology. “My vision was to enrich the visitor experience at our natural and historic treasures using the latest technology, to basically deliver quality interpretation in the palm of a visitor’s hand,” said Little, inventor and founder of Bar Z Adventures, the developer of the GPS Ranger.
