We integrate customized handheld computers with GPS and multi-tier software to produce multiple patent-pending products marketed under the names GPS Ranger® and Zoo Ranger®. The combined result is the ability to deliver multimedia content to any point of interest in the world in a fun, entertaining and engaging format. Currently, we are working with parks and public lands, zoos, cruise lines, convention and visitor bureaus and college campuses that have large visitation rates for the deployment of our technology. Position Description:
The Inside Sales position will be responsible for building sales of the Ranger Series into our selected markets. You will be expected to make a large volume of outbound phone calls to help generate interest in our product, explaining the merits of the Ranger Series of multimedia tour guides for tourist destinations. This position will assist in filling the sales pipeline with quality sales leads and ensuring that new business opportunities are coming into the company on a continual basis. Some of the specific tasks this position will entail include: - Finding and qualifying new leads
- Researching potential leads in order to address pain points and tailor sales pitch appropriately
- Building consensus and momentum for tour development in the targeted organizations
- Presenting sales presentations over the phone and with web conferencing software
- Answering client questions; anticipating and offering rebuttals for client objections
- Following up with potential clients in a timely and consistent manner, keeping an open door throughout the sales process
- Keeping sales pipeline and lead status organized through the use of CRM software
This will be a hands-on, “roll-up your sleeves” position. As we are a start-up company offering a new product to the market, a creative entrepreneurial approach to work will be required to make the most impact. You will be responsible for helping to drive the sales process and close business.

Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: 4-6 years of past inside sales experience, preferably with travel, tourism or destination experience.
- Travel: Limited to tradeshow participation and some customer visits.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Creative and strong work ethic; Entrepreneurial attitude
- Team player who thrives on challenges
- Proven track record in sales and account development
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Superb phone skills
- Skilled in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- Ability to learn new technologies, software applications and subjects quickly
- Ability to initiate and maintain effective, productive working relationships with associates, contractors, customers and the public
Location: BarZ is located in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will reside in the Central Texas area and will be expected to work in our corporate headquarters. No relocation expenses will be paid.
Salary/Benefits: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will be a combination of salary and commission based pay. Full-time employees will be eligible for benefits under the BarZ Adventures benefit plan, including an innovative annual immersion week in the markets that we support.
